BREAK STRENGTH | Strapping break strengths are listed as averages. Always use linear break when calculating break strength. Refer to the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM D3950) minimum break strengths for package design/safety factor purposes. All measurement, size, footage, tensile, thickness, are nominal measurements based on an average measurement made on a number of samples. BUCKLES | It is very important that you use the correct buckle for your strapping application. Note that without the proper buckles, the buckle efficiency may not meet the specifications listed in the ASTM Standards for non metallic strapping.
